I discovered this really cute game called The Endless Forest from THIS POST. You get to play as a fawn, which I assume eventually grows up since I've seen adult deer around. What's interesting about the game is that you can NOT talk. Nope, no words, just gestures and movements to communicate your message. it's very interesting ^_^
And also the place is just very nice and relaxing.

+ I have finally decided to start reading The Artist's Way and so far I LOVE it! I don't know why, but for the longest time I thought this was some sort of easy book. But it isn't at all! it has essays in it, but it's primary a workbook. Right now I'm on week 2 (and kind of falling behind on my morning pages) and things are going pretty good. I think aside from helping me with my creativity it's helping me sort out other problems as well. I most certainly suggest this book to everyone who hasn't read it yet! ^_^
+ My computer is being an ass latly. It wont load Yahoo, Google, Animesuki, wordpress, Shelfari, Ravelry... pretty much a good portion of the web sites I go to. Thankfully things like Fashion World of SL and Bookmooch still load, but it's still SO freaking annoying to not be able to access those sites on this computer. (they load just fine on any other computer in the house, just not mine)

Yay, I got Beltane 2008 @ Annwfn photos posted. check em out ^__^

This weekend has got to be the most fun I've had in a up there in a ritual. there was just a lot of good energy and everything worked out so well. Also people were happy and have fun, and so was I ^_^
I've heard that last years Beltane wasn't that great because there was so many people and SO much drama, but Aileen said that this year "was a lot more low key" and thus so much less stressful.

So yesterday I was at The Core and these two annoying people come in and start complaining about the above avatars. Now, before you get the wrong idea about the above avatars, they were just playing around with the size and having fun. (They normally don’t have short avatars) more importantly, they were NOT doing anything obscene. Just dancing….. that was it.
and so, that brings me to the chat log. I cut out some of the invalid stuff like “Welcome to The Core” and other things like that.

I enjoy taking screenshots in Second Life, even if I'm not the best in the world at it. But I wanted to do something different from portraits. The first idea was to do set of photos, a ton of beach themed photos, hanging out at the park theme, etc. But the idea grew old fast. So instead I decided I wanted to try my had at creating a web comic with screenshots from Second Life.
what is the story about exactly? I have no idea o_O"
Throwing my characters into an abandoned town always seems to be a good starting point for me, lol ^_^
but we'll see if this evolves into anything good. I hope it dose *crosses fingers*

this is actually a stuff toy that I've been looking at for a long time before I finally decided to buy one. Every time I passed by that store window I always thought about how strange and cute and cuddly those stuff toys looked. I think after 2 or 3 years of looking at it in the window I can be fairly sure that it's not just a passing fancy.

on on other things, I tried to get the Annwfn Video Podcast but my shitty portable hard drive seems to have finally kicked the bucket. Well, not entirely. It'll load all the files, let me see all the files and folder on the hard drive, but when I tried to do anything with them (like copy them to another hard drive) it gives me a "file not found" error. >_<
I am sooo pissed off. But at least mom has a buck up of all my photos and all my music is backed up already and on my new exsternal hard drive Minagi! ^__^
yes, I named my hard drives. The one that just kicked the bucket was named Kotomi and the portable drive before that was call Fuuko. Have I mentioned latly that I hate external hard drives? I have gone through TWO external hard drive and TWO portable drives! that's a total of FOUR external drives! all within a freaking year! ok, one of my externals lasted for a long time, but the others were still crap. Though I'm thinking that it may be a virus that I'm just copying over to the new drives that's killing so many off *headdesk*
I hate computer viruses..... why oh why do people have to do this to other people? are they bored? can't they find something else to amuse them selfs with? but then again that's pretty much the case with anything...... *sigh*
well, all I can do it keep backing up my files obsessively and hopefully I wont lose anything. *crosses fingures*

and you know what the best part is? I'm going to be coming down on a weekly bases from now on! ^__^
we decided that to keep me sane and to keep the Annwfn.org web site more update (and other computer related things involving Annwfn) that I would come down to Petaluma with Peige every Monday and going back up to Annwfn with Peige on Thursday. woooooot! This means that when the fall semester start at the SRJC I'll be able to attend classes again AND I can hold down a Second Life job in the mean time ^___^
