Yay, I got Beltane 2008 @ Annwfn photos posted. check em out ^__^

This weekend has got to be the most fun I've had in a up there in a ritual. there was just a lot of good energy and everything worked out so well. Also people were happy and have fun, and so was I ^_^
I've heard that last years Beltane wasn't that great because there was so many people and SO much drama, but Aileen said that this year "was a lot more low key" and thus so much less stressful.

Also today I get to go to that Oyster restaurant out by the coast. Well, we're ether going to go to Tony's or that other restaurant that's in that same area if it's opened.

+ got a shelfari.com account. ME @ shelfari.com. I haven't had much time to play around with it, but it looks like a good web site for keeping all the books I own in order and a list of books I want to read ^__^

ok, that's all I can think of right now.

So last night in snowed up in Annwfn, which made me very, very excited since well, I always get excited about snow ^__^

of course Joe was being a stick in the mud and telling all of us to "not mess up the snow" and that playing in the snow was childish and all that. Oh right, Peige and her kids are up this weekend so we were all playing in the snow last night and Joe was being mean to Jeremy, who wasn't doing anything that any teenager wouldn't be doing. in fact, the only things I might have worried about it sledded down the hill, but even that wouldn't equal me lecturing him! it's not like they went down Old Fluffy or anything.

any way, aside from Joe being a stick in the mud we had a ton of fun last night and this morning! ^__^
Last night me, Aileen and Kathrine made a little snowwoman and then Kathrine tried to move it but it didn't really survive the trip o_O"
and then this morning me, Jeff, Aileen and Juan went up to the lake to see what it looked like and we then built a very male snowman, lol!
and then we all went inside and drank warm beverages before going back outside and playing in the snow some more ^__^

over all it's been a fun day ^_^

When ever we go to the ranch house to shower there are always frogs in the curtains (since it's an outdoor shower) and this one was being photogenic and actually staying still long enough for me to take it's picture ^__^

any way, we've been pretty busy lately. Joe's back up for another 30 days and Paige is up this weekend to help us with the firewood. and yeah, more info behind the cut

ok, so we still have A LOT more to do, but at least we have all the walls up now and we can sleep in it ^__^

and now we just need to finished the outside (roofing and stuff like that) and then do the inside. (floor, dry wall and insulation)
but at least we can now sleep in our own place without freezing our asses off! YAY!!! ^______^
and it's our own private space, which is nice after living in the goat lodge for.... how long has it been now? well, a long time now..... well, it seems like forever any way o_O"

first off, I've fixed the podcast and it's actually fixed and works in itunes now, yay! ^_^

Also we are now officially out of the goat lodge and sleeping in our own place! YAY!!! ^_^
ok, we still have a long way till it's finished, but there's a roof and that's good enough for sleeping. Also we now have our own bed again, which is very nice ^_^

on other things, we had ice-cream yesterday! not only ice-cream, but homemade ice-cream! Jack cooked up the recipe and yesterday all of us took turning cranking the hand cranked ice-cream maker. it only took 15 minutes, which was very surprising since I know with my ice-cream maker at home (and that one id electric) it takes 30 minutes and Jack said that it normally took 30 minutes as well. Though he also said it's probably the recipe soimce it's a new recipe he had never tried before. So, the recipe is a winer ^_^
and it was very, very yummy too! ^_^

Also yesterday we went swimming at the pound, which was also a ton of fun. Me, Aileen, Jeff and Juan swam up stream a bit and found it was very nice to hand out there since it wasn't as windy and everyone else (it was pretty busy) was in the other part of the pound/creek/whatever you want to call it. So it was quite and peaceful further up the stream ^_^
ah, the swimming pond couldn't possibly be any more perfect. really, it is a piece of paradise. Especially on a hot day.

so I'm currently at the library, yay? Jeff and Juan are doing laundry and Aileen is at work. I was dropped off here since I wanted to dropped off some books and pick up the books I had on hold. Also I just wanted to surf the net and it really doesn't take 3 people to do the laundry. Also I assume they're going to go buy the rest of the ply wood for our roof, which they can do without me since I'd just be in the way.

So I'm back up in Annwfn now. yay?

On Friday we had breakfast with mom before she left for the airport and then Aileen and Joe picked us up. We then headed to the city. We also had sushi with Tim and Kia, which was fun ^_^
then to the club, which we stayed at till 2am or maybe 3am.... dunno. It was like 4am when we got back home, that's all I know.

Yesterday was spent hanging out and then getting coffee with dad (well, tea) at OTEAO and then going to a few shops downtown and then going to the apples box for Italian Sodas ^_^

and then around 7pm we headed back up here and went to sleep once we got back here.

and now I'm bored...... I wish I had internet connection ;_;

Also, I can't wait to get my new laptop. I mean, I wont be able to order it till we sell the house, but yeah. I still can't wait to get it ^_^
oh yeah, I think I have finally decided to get THIS LAPTOP, the Dell XPS 1330.
if any one has any experience with this laptop please leave a comment telling me what you think of it ^_^

and for the past few days about the only thing I've been doing when I get online is work on the Annwfn.org web site. Today I cleaned up the main menu since it was a pretty big mess and I also made it so pages don't link to them selfs.
ALSO I got EP.00 of the Annwfn Video Podcast up. it's not the greatest podcast in the world, but meh. it's just the intro.
So, go forth and laugh at me trying to be the anchor for a podcast since no one else wanted to. *sigh* I have a 0 in stage presence. *headdesk*

and a I believe that is all I have done today. it took me FOREVER to set up the freaking video podcast. Why you ask? because for some odd reason I tried to use podesk and it took me at least half an hour (or more) to figure out what my MYsql database was, and then when I finally got it installed I couldn't figure out what to do from there. so I said f*** it, and I used THIS TUTORIAL. It ended up being insanely easy, especially compared to that stupid podesk thing.

oh right, and if any one is wonder why I'm calling Burger King "The BK Lounge":

I'm currently at Burger King and there's some annoying brats that keeps jumping up and down, shaking the booth and just being an annoying kid. and the only booth with an outlet is also the only booth with an annoying kid behind it.

ok, they went away. YAY! ^_^

any way, as you can tell Burger King has Wi-Fi. Why? I do not know. But Wi-Fi is the only reason I'd ever eat at Burger King.

*sigh*
ok, now some other people sat down behind me. WTF, there are a TON of other empty booths, why did they have to sit at the one behind me? *headdesk* I hate people some times

did I mention it's freezing in here? I think they leave the AC on to make sure no one hangs out to use their freaking Wi-Fi

any way, on other news, I've been doing more work on the annwfn.org web page. Most of what I've been getting on the FOA yahoo group is them saying we need to spell check and stuff like that. I've also gotten a few nice comments, but yeah. This is why I don't do web pages professionally, I really can only do things half assed. It's really not a professional web site, but it dose look better than the old site, so it has that going for it.

So I spent some time working on the web page since we turned the generator on. Though I really need internet connection before I can work on most of the things that I need to correct. I seriously hate not having any internet here and who knows when we will ever get it. *sigh*

any way, other than me working on the web page today we also did more limbing. yay?
Loki caught a mouse while we were out there. I wanted to protect it from Loki but Joe was being mean and saying to let Loki kill it (even though Loki wasn't and he had no intention of eating it). though once he went away I made sure Loki left the mouse alone. I just couldn't stand by and watch Loki play with it till it died. seriously.

and have I ever mentioned that I hate it when people stand over my shoulder watching me work? Aileen has a tendency to do that some times when I'm working on the web page. I mean it's find when we're collaborating and such, but I just hate having something watching everything I do.

blah, I can't wait till Saturday when I can surf the net uninterpreted for hours.

So I didn't get a chance to really charge my computer yesterday since some girl came in and wanted to use the one power outlet there. so my computer is going to run out of battery soon. sucks >_<

oh right, adventures in losing my power cord:
on Tuesday Joe was going into Town and he was going to use my laptop. unfortunately when we looked in my bag the power cord was gone. We looked everywhere for it and it was no where. ends up we left it at Starbucks last Sunday, so I didn't get it back till yesterday.
Also I was stuck using the Libraries computers, which have a 1 hour time limit. though what we did was have Jeff and Aileen get tickets for me to use. I still only got an extra hour since Aileen decided to use her ticket. meh, whatever. I did at least get the web site uploaded there. and later we got my power cord back from Starbucks and I worked on the web site in Schat's.

Speaking of the web site, I still have a ton of things to get done on it. Me and Aileen need to go through and spell check everything and we need to finish the pages that are under construction. Also I should probably make a general announcement on the FOA yahoo group about the new message board and on the tribe as well.

wait, I looked at my battery thing a while ago and it said I had 11 minutes of power left, but right now it says I have 12 minutes left o_O"

ok, now I'm going to get back to work on the page cuz there are still a TON of things I need to get done on it.

Seriously. the battery life on this thing is pathetic (the thing is going to up and die any minute now) and I can't load InDesign since there isn't enough memory and I need the Window Service Pack 2. *sigh*
and I really want to work on various things on my laptop but like I said, my laptop is going to die any moment. yeah, I soooo need a new laptop.

I just downloaded a program called PageFour. I'm playing around with it a bit and I like it so far. So for NaNoWriMo this year I might end up using this program. It's nice to have all my notes and stuff all in one place and everything is nice and organized. and, as much as I like Microsoft Word, I think I like this program a bit more. Well, we'll see how well it works for me this NaNoWriMo ^_^

Also, like my last post suggested I found this interesting site called twitter. I made one for myself as you can tell, though I don't know how often I'll update it since well, I don't have much in the way of cell phone connection up here....
but yeah, I only posted the invite thing since Aileen just got to the cafe to pick me up.

Speaking of yesterday, I got InDesign though I realized once I got up here that I needed the Windows Updates to install it >_<
I knew I should have tried to install it while I was still in the cafe. Well, next time I'm in town, which is actully going to be today! ^_^
cuz guess what? we're going to the fair! YEEEEHA!! yes, I had to say "yeha" cuz it's a hick town and a hick fair. But I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun any way.

Also, now that I've thought of it, I need/want to start working on the Annwfn Video Podcast. I've already got a blogger account set up, but that's it. I need video before I can do anything else. and yeah..... I should do I short intro video. Something to say "Hi, this is what you can expect in our monthly podcast" kind of thing. But I really don't know what I'm going to be putting in it o_O"

another thing I've been debating is making my LJ friends only since I don't really need people from up here reading my LJ, since most of my thoughts here are my personal thoughts alone. I mean, I don't want anyone to misunderstand what I say here, cuz some times I have a tendency to say something wrong unknowenly that may upset people. dunno o_O"
But I guess as long as I don't link my LJ any where it should be, well not hard to find but not easy ether. I mean, if someone put 2 and 2 together they could very well figure out who I am, but still. it's better not to avertise my LJ on anything Annwfn, right?

Since I don't have a temperature I'm going to assume my dizziness is related to my lack of zoloft. oh happy blob, how I miss thee.......
I seriously have to start remembering to order my zoloft before I run out. not a day or two before I run out but at least a week before I run out. though soon I will be without health insurance, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do after that o_O"

so right now I'm drinking some Jasmine Pearl Tea and I really like it. It's a local brand of tea, Mendocino Tea Company. We got it from the co-op, yay. Oh yeah, speaking of the co-op Jack added Aileen to his membership (as his shopper) so now we get some sort of percent off when ever we shop there. yay! ^_^

yay, Jack gave me some zoloft, so I should be feeling better soon. I hope.....

For most of the day I ended up sort of napping and reading Tideland. I made some Cold Comfort Tea from my book of herbal teas and that seemed to help. Though still when I stand up a walk around too much I still get dizzy >_<
Though since I'm not as bad off as I was this afternoon I wonder if the other are going to believe me when I said I wasn't feeling well. *sigh* I have a feeling they'll be angry that I didn't accomplish anything today. Well, I managed to draw Juan's topless mermaid, even if I haven't given her a face yet.

Also Jack and Tamar brought down their dinner to the Goat Lodge and made enough for me, which was nice of them. If they hadn't I would have been stuck with ranmen or whatever ranmen equivalent we have around.

any way, as far as painting projects go around here, I still need to finish the shed and Joe still needs to write out his runes so I can paint them. and of course the water tanks aren't any where near finished. Right now they are all blue, and out of three only one has anything painted on it. (the mermaid and some seaweed)

*sigh* I wonder when the next time I'll be able to get online is. You know, I don't think it would be nearly as bad up here if I had internet connection. Well, even being up here by my self and just chilling all day isn't bad, it's when we have to work all day that it's bad. and when I'm done working I can't even check my e-mail that annoys me. and I can't journal, I hate that too. You guys know how often I like to journal, but being up here that's just not possible. Though I've decided I'm going to start doing what I'm doing right now. That is, writing post offline and then posting them when ever I next get internet connection. I don't know why I didn't do that in the past. oh right, lack of power. Right now Jack and Tamar have the generator on, so my laptop is plugged in and I don't have to worry about running out of power. Actually, I was thinking of popping in a movie (Sleeping Beauty since it’s what I have up here) and watching it while I have the chance. I would watch Pan's Labyrinth but I forgot to pick it up last time I went to the storage unit. meh >_<

ok, I'm not really alone, Jack and Tamar are up here still. though everyone else went down to cottoti for their monthly meeting at the Redwood Cafe. of course I couldn't go for whatever reason, so I'm now up here by my self. well, relatively.
Right now I am REALLY dizzy. I don't know why. I wonder if that's one of the Zoloft withdraw symptoms. I've been out since last Sunday.... it sucks. I hope mom shipped it on Monday like she said she would. Also I'm dizzy from not being able to see. I lost one of my last contacts and then I felt it was pointless to walk around with only one contact so now I'm stuck without any contacts and I have little hope that mom is going to get me more contacts >_<
well, Aileen said she'd get me some, I just need to order them. wait, I asked her if they were going to be going to to Santa Rosa (or near there) any time soon and she said no. But they are, today. I could have ordered some from Costco and they could have picked it up. damit.
blah, I've stopped caring. I'm too tired and dizzy.

Oh right, so yesterday we spent part of the day hauling firewood down the hill. my arms hurts A LOT now. though we did get a lot of firewood down at least. We should be nice and warm this winter. at least I hope we will.

So I'm going back up to Annwfn today and I wont be back till some time in September. blah >_<
But at least I got some stuff on the web site done and I am currently printing up the newsletter. Why didn't I do this last night, you ask? I really have no idea.... I probably should have, but eh. No use worrying about that now.

speaking of web pages though, I need to load Photoshop on my laptop. I'm going to do that now while I'm thinking about it
