NaNoWriMo people, I was wondering if we're still using the Wrimo chat room this year? o_O"
no one was there, but then again this early that doesn't mean much.
though I wont be able to be in the wrimo chat all the time since I wont have internet connection all the time >_<

and speaking of NaNoWriMo, any one who is planning on doing it this year can now officially sign up! though I'm sure anyone planning on signing up would have known that already o_O"
I feel so out of the loop >_<

oh right, and on tech related things, I got EP1 of the Annwfn Video Podcast up! ^__^
this time my face isn't in it, but my voice is. I actually got other people in the podcast this time ^_^


general update stuff

+ We went to Orr Hot Springs last Sunday and it was awesome! seriously, I just loved hanging out in the hot tubs all day, going into the steam room, eating dinner and then hanging out in the hot tubs some more! ^_^
Also they had private tubs that I hung out in for a while, just to spend some time alone and relax.

-- Tamar came back early. way too early for our taste. the first thing she dose when she got home was go over to the sink and say "yeah, back here needs to be mopped up every time you use the sink." WTF? can't she not criticize the kitchen area for one freaking second? and what'd worst is the next day the first thing she dose in the morning is pull out a dish from the cabinet and point out some spots on it. she then started to say "when it comes time to tell you'all if you can live here or not and the dishes are still like this, we're going to say no."
what a bitch.

+ We've gotten most of the insulation up in our loft done (and they probably finished it by now too) AND we got our stove installed too. speaking of the stove....

-- ...apparently Jack and Tamar have been bullshitting us about the "no stove fires when the burn ban is still on" thing, cuz yesterday we went to the Greenfield meeting (which is where Annwfn is located) and the board member that we asked said he did not know of any rule about 'no stove fires' and he eve admitted to lighting his stove that morning. (cuz it's cold, damit!)

+ Last Friday I won $42 at the casino ^_^
see they give you $20 of free play on Friday for every one (tue for girls thurs for guys) and so we go there twice a week and spend ONLY the $20 of free play. Works out for us since anything we win is pure gain ^__^

-- I've been avoiding Tamar like the pledge. I'm just tired of her.

+ We got Juan's tent up so he's now moved out of the Goat Lodge and living in his own place

Also we are now officially out of the goat lodge and sleeping in our own place! YAY!!! ^_^
ok, we still have a long way till it's finished, but there's a roof and that's good enough for sleeping. Also we now have our own bed again, which is very nice ^_^

on other things, we had ice-cream yesterday! not only ice-cream, but homemade ice-cream! Jack cooked up the recipe and yesterday all of us took turning cranking the hand cranked ice-cream maker. it only took 15 minutes, which was very surprising since I know with my ice-cream maker at home (and that one id electric) it takes 30 minutes and Jack said that it normally took 30 minutes as well. Though he also said it's probably the recipe soimce it's a new recipe he had never tried before. So, the recipe is a winer ^_^
and it was very, very yummy too! ^_^

Also yesterday we went swimming at the pound, which was also a ton of fun. Me, Aileen, Jeff and Juan swam up stream a bit and found it was very nice to hand out there since it wasn't as windy and everyone else (it was pretty busy) was in the other part of the pound/creek/whatever you want to call it. So it was quite and peaceful further up the stream ^_^
ah, the swimming pond couldn't possibly be any more perfect. really, it is a piece of paradise. Especially on a hot day.

so, guess what? my last video podcast thing ended up not working in itunes, so I had to redo the whole thing. blah.
So here it is, the new Annwfn Video Podcast.
ok, the only thing new about it is the web site, that's it. still the same old ep.00.

on other things,
Jeff bought the rest of the plywood that we needed for our roof and then we had roundtable pizza for lunch. Jeff went to the bookstore and I was going to go to the library to pick up the books I had on hold and to surf the net there, but guess what? the Library is closed on Mondays. lame!
So I just dropped off the books I was going to return any way and head back here.

ok, that's it for now.

and for the past few days about the only thing I've been doing when I get online is work on the Annwfn.org web site. Today I cleaned up the main menu since it was a pretty big mess and I also made it so pages don't link to them selfs.
ALSO I got EP.00 of the Annwfn Video Podcast up. it's not the greatest podcast in the world, but meh. it's just the intro.
So, go forth and laugh at me trying to be the anchor for a podcast since no one else wanted to. *sigh* I have a 0 in stage presence. *headdesk*

and a I believe that is all I have done today. it took me FOREVER to set up the freaking video podcast. Why you ask? because for some odd reason I tried to use podesk and it took me at least half an hour (or more) to figure out what my MYsql database was, and then when I finally got it installed I couldn't figure out what to do from there. so I said f*** it, and I used THIS TUTORIAL. It ended up being insanely easy, especially compared to that stupid podesk thing.

oh right, and if any one is wonder why I'm calling Burger King "The BK Lounge":

I just downloaded a program called PageFour. I'm playing around with it a bit and I like it so far. So for NaNoWriMo this year I might end up using this program. It's nice to have all my notes and stuff all in one place and everything is nice and organized. and, as much as I like Microsoft Word, I think I like this program a bit more. Well, we'll see how well it works for me this NaNoWriMo ^_^

Also, like my last post suggested I found this interesting site called twitter. I made one for myself as you can tell, though I don't know how often I'll update it since well, I don't have much in the way of cell phone connection up here....
but yeah, I only posted the invite thing since Aileen just got to the cafe to pick me up.

Speaking of yesterday, I got InDesign though I realized once I got up here that I needed the Windows Updates to install it >_<
I knew I should have tried to install it while I was still in the cafe. Well, next time I'm in town, which is actully going to be today! ^_^
cuz guess what? we're going to the fair! YEEEEHA!! yes, I had to say "yeha" cuz it's a hick town and a hick fair. But I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun any way.

Also, now that I've thought of it, I need/want to start working on the Annwfn Video Podcast. I've already got a blogger account set up, but that's it. I need video before I can do anything else. and yeah..... I should do I short intro video. Something to say "Hi, this is what you can expect in our monthly podcast" kind of thing. But I really don't know what I'm going to be putting in it o_O"

another thing I've been debating is making my LJ friends only since I don't really need people from up here reading my LJ, since most of my thoughts here are my personal thoughts alone. I mean, I don't want anyone to misunderstand what I say here, cuz some times I have a tendency to say something wrong unknowenly that may upset people. dunno o_O"
But I guess as long as I don't link my LJ any where it should be, well not hard to find but not easy ether. I mean, if someone put 2 and 2 together they could very well figure out who I am, but still. it's better not to avertise my LJ on anything Annwfn, right?
