I'm not sure how much of this I have said before, so I apologies if I'm repeating myself on any of this.

Well, so far we are waiting for an apartment to become available. again. What happened to the last two that were available, you ask? well, apparently other people qualified for it before we did. jerks. not the people that qualified for it, but the people running the place. apparently what they do is every time an apartment become available they send up 4 letters and who ever gets their paper work in fastest gets the apartment. I was really pissed off that she choose to wait till now to tell us this. We assumed they were holding the apartment for us while we waited for the government to send it Jeff paper work, but no, that wasn't it. they just decided to be ass holes and let us think that we had the place when we really didn't. if we had known it was a competition we would have been been putting more pressure on people to get the paper work done faster, but because they failed to tell us this we now have to wait for another apartment to come up.
actually I think this whole thing it bull shit. I really hope that both me and Jeff will get a good job so that we don't have to deal with this low income bull shit and just move into a real apartment. you know, the normal kind that doesn't think it's outrageous that we *shock* want to see the apartment before we move in. oh no, they can't let us see what it looks like or even give us the square footage; which is 620 by the way, I found out online.

the most frustrating part about this whole thing is how many time they have said "yeah, there's an apartment free by the end of the week" and then have someone else take it before we even have a chance to get our paper work in. I really starting to think that lady is screwing us over. because a while back Jeff's boss or someone put a note on the paper work she needed to fill out and the lady got upset over that and told her that she was going to deny us the apartments because of that. which is stupid, it was just a freaking side note! but I swear, if this keeps on happening then I'll know that The Lady Who Can't Speak English is really screwing us over. I swear, if she is we are so going to report her. it's not going to do us a whole lot of good in the way of getting the apartment, but at this rate we'll probably never move in!

About the apartment:
Jeff just called me a while ago saying that GW sent in the paper work that was suppose to be filled out and the people called them back all bitchy about a note that was written on the page that wasn't suppose to be there. Not only were they being bitchy about something so stupid, they also said they were going to deny us an apartment! of course when I called the lady was like "it's ok, I fix the paper work". so I honestly have no idea what is going on. but if they do deny us an apartment for something as stupid as this you know this isn't going to be the last they are going to hear of it.
But hopefully this whole thing is just a big communication misunderstanding


like I said, today is too complected

so yay, tonight I get to see Lacuna Coil!! EK, I'm so excited! ^_^
and then next week I get to see Depeche Mode, yay! ^_^
I hope they are selling Lacuna Coil merchandise at the show since it's actually a Rob Zombie concert.... but I'm not there to see Rob Zombie, I'm there to see Lacuna Coil! YAY Lacuna Coil! ^_^

So, the Apartment! guess what? I think someone is finally moving out of the apartments down town, so that means we get to move in soon! yay! at least I hope so o_O"
I'm still unsure if she found our new application and thinks we're new applicants or if there is an apartment available. What I understood through her broken English was that there was an apartment available. but then again, this is the same person who said "you are a boy??" when what I said had nothing to do with that.... well, we will find out on Monday.

yesterday I had Jeff drop me off in Santa Rosa on his way to work so I could apply at a temp agency. mom knows the people that run it and also I'm trying to get a job (even if just a temp job) at the place mom works. but if anything I'm sure she'll find a job for me some where here in town.
After that I wondered around downtown for a long time. I bought two GIR shirts from hot topic, some fuzzy black slippers, and a couple of magazines. yay for shopping! ^_^

I then went to the area where Best Buy and all those stores are at and looked at some apartments. the first place we were thinking about (The Meadows) doesn’t have any one room apartments so I walked over to some other apartment place. the place looked alright but where only $30 less than the places at Harvest Park! not the mention I didn't like the area nearly as much as Harvest Park (even though it's not that far) and I believe the apartments where smaller too. Also the guy was really pushy, he kept trying to get me to put a deposit down on the apartment. I mean, how many times I do I have say "I have to discuss this with my husband" before he gets the point?! and he was adding things up as "just as an example", but he was still being really pushy. "we only have 2 one room apartments. If you want you can put down $100 to hold it." *rolls eyes*
so mainly for the fact that he was really pushy and also the fact that I really do like Harvest Park a whole lot more, I don't think we'll be looking at those places.
then again, we have to see what sort of job I get before we can seriously look at anything o_O"

any way, after that I went to Borders and hung out there. Jeff then picked me up from there and he was like "hey, let's go to the beach" since we where going to go on Friday but ended up not going. So that's what we did, we went to the beach. We got some thing to eat there first and then bought a kite and tried to fly it. at first it didn't work since the area we were in was really sheltered from the wind. so Jeff walked all the way back up the stairs to the top and manged to get the kite up in the air. then he came back down and we were able to fly the kite for a while. it was fun ^_^
but unfortunately when we brought it back in it landed in the water and when I was trying to pull it back in the string ended up snapping. we tried to wait for it to wash back up on shore but it never did, so we just gave up on it.
but all in all it was a fun day ^_^

So mom just told me she was going to have to sell the house. aside from feeling like "I've lived here my whole life" and being completely attached to this house and being a bit sad about that, there is also the issue of the cats. I was just going to leave them here since they have lived here a long time and Minako and Tiger have lived here their whole lives. but now mom is going to sell this house and move into a mobile house, or at least that is the plan. so now that the issue of moving the cats has come up I am seriously looking for a place that dose allow pets so I can take some of the cats. I know Tiger loves mom to death, so he'd stay with her. I'd want to take Minako if I can, also I'm not confident that mom will give Killer his medicine every day so I'd want to take him as well. and not so sure about pepper, I think she'd adjust well to which ever place she moves into and aside from brushing and feeding her can food she dosen't need an exceptional amount of care. though then again I might be worried that mom wouldn't feed her can food.... so I might end up taking her as well.
I really want to move into Harvest Park now. (another link) they allow pets, it's in a nice area and there isn't a lot of traffic and if I can get a bottom level place then it would be perfect since the cats will be able to go in and out with out any problems. if we moved downtown that wouldn't be a possibility, aside from that fact that I think they don't allow pets there is also no outdoor area that I could let the cats run around in.
you know, I think me and Jeff could mange if I get a good full time job that has health benefits. I'm hoping that this job I am applying for at moms work will work out, but even if it dosen't I hope I will find another good paying job.

yesterday me and Jeff went to look at some apartments in Santa Rosa. I can't recall what the name of the place was, I just know it stuck out like a sore thumb next to the really nice houses in the area and Harvest Park. so because they looked so pretty and the office for the apartments we where going to look at was closed, me and Jeff decided to look at Harvest Park. they are so pretty and really close to borders! I want to live there. I know we wont be able to afford it so we probably wont, but I can dream, can't I?
we were then told about The Meadows and we went to check them out, but it was just our luck that yesterday was the only day they closed early. so I guess we'll go back some other time to look....
between all of this I called the downtown apartments back and the lady said something about having to find my number and shit like that. and today when I called them the lady was like "well, I found your number and your at the top of the list, so there is no problem there". of course there still isn't any vacancy. I wish some one would freaking move out of that place so we can move in!

any way, after looking around we went to Beverages & More and then had dinner at Applebee's. we calculated how much we would need to make to live on our own, and if the job I'm looking at includes health insurance and if we don't buy a car it would be $1,600 for the downtown apartments and $2,000 for the apartments in Santa Rosa.
living on our own is going to suck...

oh god, I just called the place that we're looking at and they finally got their new manager. what is the problem, you ask? she speaks almost no English. I said my name was Laura and she was like "Mora?" and I was like "no, Laura" and then she said "Mora?" and I had to repeat "no, Laura" and then she said "with an M?" well, eventually she got my name right. I wonder if she got my last name right *rolls eyes* and then at the end of the conversation she said I might need to fill out another application if she couldn't find it and I said "you should have it, I have already filled out 2" well, actually 3 but I know one of them is lost. there was a moment of silence and she was like "you are a boy??" and if we move there we are going to have to deal with her an a fairly regular basses.... I think I'm starting to like the other lady better, at least she spoke English!

so umm, any one in this area have any good suggested for apartments? I'm not sure when/if we will be able to move into the ones downtown...
