We did A LOT in photography today! I developed my pinhole photo (above), did a photogram (behind the cut) AND developed my roll of film I took over the weekend. Yep, it was a very busy and fun class ^_^
Right now I am so glad I decided to take photography. I had some apprehension since I remembered not liking it so much in High School. But then again that was High School and the teacher, as nice as she was, just wasn't very good at teaching anything. or more precisely she didn't inspire anyone to do anymore than the bare minimum and wasn't very interesting, when it came down to it.
But this class is an entire different story. Aside from the fact that we actually have a drying cabinet that's more then just an empty cabinet (it has filters and air moving things); and that we actually have a water spinning thing to clean our photos instead of a bucket stuck in the sink with the water running, it's also just different since it's college and not High School.
Also, did I mention we have twice, no three times as many photo enlargers? Also we have a thing that actually drys your photos! you like stick it in and it rolls your photo through it. I was very amused by that. What? we had like nothing in our High School photo class. The closest was the dark room and we had like, 5 photo enlargers. I think. Also it was just cramped in that little dark room. But the one at the SRJC is so BIG and OPEN! the ceiling are tall and there's enough room for people to walk around without bumping into each other! I just love our dark room, seriously.
( the other things we did in class today )ok, I'm sleepy. bed now.
