hehe, isn't it cuuuute? ^_^
When ever we go to the ranch house to shower there are always frogs in the curtains (since it's an outdoor shower) and this one was being photogenic and actually staying still long enough for me to take it's picture ^__^

any way, we've been pretty busy lately. Joe's back up for another 30 days and Paige is up this weekend to help us with the firewood. and yeah, more info behind the cut

So I'm mostly finished with spray painting my art supply box. I still need to add some more things on the sides since they look pretty bare right now, but for the most part I'm done.

So this box (which is a tackle box) cost about $9, I think $10 with tax. Which is much better than $27, which was how much the art supply box of equal size at the art shop coast. so I had to alter it a bit so my pencils would fit, I still think it's better than spending the extra $17 for something that's basically the same.

This is my first pointy kitty, I think it turned out pretty nice for my first attempt ^_^
though next time I'll sew the strips on correctly and I'll use buttons for the eyes. hmmm, what colors to use next time...

so I finally finished re doing my journal cover. It's actually a very simple cover but took a couple of days since I kept having to wait for the glue to dry.
I like how it turn out ^_^

on other things, YESTERDAY
I went out on a nice long walk to Shollenberger Park. well, the walk there wasn't long but I spent a lot of time there. I walked up and down part of the path and I also jogged a bit. also I really love my new shoes, they were really nice to have yesterday.

other than that I really didn't do a whole lot yesterday.

right now I am working on fixing my journal. the spin sort of tore so I had to duct tape it up. but since I didn't want a lot of the duct tape showing over the cover I decided to take off the old stuff and re do the cover of my journal. I guess it was time for a change any way.
THIS is what is used to look like. well, the back cover any way. I was half way through with tearing up the front cover when it dawned on me that maybe I should take a picture or scan it before I destroy this cover...

any way, today after having breakfast at Hallie's Diner I decided to go with Jeff to his bofing thing. ok, I mainly took pictures and listened to my ipod the entire time but at least I got out of the house.
now Jeff is off RPing with his friends and probably wont be back home till 4am. not to mention mom is going out on a date tonight, so I get to be at home all by my self tonight. how fun. *rolls eyes*

so I'm still working on my art supply box. yesterday I taped off the areas I wanted to keep pink and painted the out side. I probably would have finished the inside too yesterday if I hadn't started to feel really bad. I had the shills and all that stuff. so on her way home mom picked me up some medicine and I am feeling better today. though last night I wasn't very happy >_<
any way, this morning I have started to paint the inside of it. I know, it looks far from perfect, but I didn't feel like tapping off every little bit, so there are going to be area that's don't look perfect. oh well, I'm sure a lot of the paint is going to chip off quickly inside and/or get stained by the various things I put in it. that's why I don't care if it looks perfect on the inside.

I never have liked Mochi ice-cream all that much, at least that was in till I tried Bubbies Mochi Ice Cream! I got some green tea flavored ones at Whole Foods since I wanted to try it and I really, really like them. ^_^

so I have finally realized that my lunch box can only hold so much of my art supplies and that I needed more space. so I dug out an old make-up box mom gave to me years ago, probably when I was still in elementary school, and spray painted the outside of it brown. why brown? because I just happened to have a can of brown spray paint around. only reason.
after that I decided I hated the way it turned out so I went out and bought some bright pink and black spray paint. I then soaked the thing over night and went to the store again today to get white primer and a clear coating to protect it once I finish.
so today Jeff helped me spray paint the primer and the pink on. tomorrow I'm going to work on the black stripes ^_^
