yeah, I know, I look weird. But I was trying to show my fangs, but I normally don't smile with my teeth showing so it was a bit awkward o_O"
oh well, at least I have a photo of me wearing my fangs posted now.

actually the day we got back we went to Applebee's and I was dressed like that, I got a few stares. Actually this one guy glanced at me and then his head snapped back when he saw the fangs. it was amusing, lol.

ok, that should be the last post relating to Baycon till next year. maybe o_O"

Well, I'm back from Baycon. ok, I was back yesterday around 3pm or so, but now I am out of con mode. I miss Baycon ;_;
But there is always next year! and we are already registered for it too ^_^
it was only $40 per person, which is better than $65 per person. though this year we did registered early so I think we paid $50 per person... I'm really not sure o_O"

any way, I was looking at flickr and at the BayCon public tag and look what I found, a photo of Aileen and Joe o_O"
actually I know that year a few people took photos of me, but I didn't find them on flickr

also, these this thing at Baycon where you go around collecting ribbons to attach to your badge. This is what my badge ended up looking like at the end of Baycon

and sadly enough, that's not very long compared to some people. Some people had their badge pin to their shoulders and the ribbons touched the ground! and these aren't really short people ether, they just have that many ribbons.
I actually would have been happy if I had manged to get 3 or 4 this year since I only got the starter ribbon last year, but this exceeded my expectations! and I don't know why I am so entertained by getting ribbons o_O"
well, I really like the "Roses are #FF0000" "Violets are #0000FF" "Marshins are #008000" and I also love" LiveJournal Addict" since I am ^_^
Also it was kind of cool, I found the +12 one stuck to a coin machine. it looked like someone had lost it, but I really had no way of returning it so I just kept it. it looked like it might have been an old one (from another year) since it didn't have the shiny lettering like all the other ribbons did, so I doubt the person missed it much.

let's see, yesterday I actually went to one panel and two BOF (Birds Of a Feather). I went to the writers block one, which was pretty interesting. me and Aileen went to the Anime BOF and there were like 4 other people there. I'm not kidding. I guess no one is an anime fan here o_O"
I wasn't sure what type of fan they where (whether or not they got anime online or just watched all the main stream stuff) till the question of "what is your favorite anime" came up. I said Haruhi and every was like "what? I've never heard of it". on the inside I sighed and rolled my eyes.
it was sort of interesting at first but then they started talking about the freaking graphics and computer modeling, which just annoyed me since they would not shut up about it! couldn't they bring up a topic that every one else could talk about? only two people were involved in that conversation.

later on I went to LiveJournal BOF and while I did find it interesting I found it hard to say anything since there were so many people there AND some really rude parents just had to bring they kids up there. not for the BOF but for the thing that cam after. but the thing was they where 40 minutes early! WTF? couldn't they wait in the kids room? that's what it's there for, their kids. Not the hall way right next to our group annoying us.
So because of those two things I ended up leaving early. though I did get a "Friends of johno" and a "Livejournal Addict" ribbon ^_^


ALSO, LOOK WHAT I GOT! hehe, I thought they where cute ^_^
Also they were custom made and I don't have to deal with that putty stuff. ^_^

So yesterday I ended up going to about 3 things on my list. yay?

Me and Aileen went to the auction and I thought I won some ribbons that said "Roses are #FF0000" "Violets are #0000FF" and "Marshins are #008000" BUT it ended up some one else won them. really pissed me off since the guy looked right at me and said "$17" when I said $17, so that some how gave me the impression that I was the one bidding. but apparently the girl in front was the one that got the bid. for some odd reason. actually the more I think about it the less sense it makes. but it really dosen't matter since he said he'd track down some for me and wouldn't charge me for it. so in the end I got the better deal.

the Masquerade was alright. actually I hated it. well, not the show, it was sort of entertaining. But I hated waiting in line in my costume that was uncomfortable for almost 2 hours. though I did get a lot of cool photos, which I will post when I get home. Also during the break they did have food and dessert. Good, tasty and pretty dessert, not icky cheap stuff. which I was surprised about, they didn't do that last year o_O"
oh well, I really don't care what they reason was for it, ether way we got snacks and they where good snacks.

after the masquerade's we went swimming, or tried to. one second in the pool I determined it was too cold, so I went to the jacuzzi instead. after that we went back up to the room and tried to play D&D 1st ed. we made our characters and played for a little while before decided we were all tired and went to bed.

this morning me and Aileen did Yoga, it was fun ^_^
I really liked the teacher. Also it was just a good class. I actually did bridge without hurting my self too! well, I think warming up is a big plus and not doing my show-off bridge helps too. cuz that one hurts.

last night at Rocky Horror was fun. I felt a bit over dressed since almost no one was wearing any sort of outfit. Jeff gave me the impression that every would, at the very least, be wearing their underwear. but a good majority of people where just dressed normally. made me a little uncomfortable. but I had Baby Satan to protect me! ^_^

Meet nny, the kitty above. no, there isn't any really reason I named it nny, other than the kiki I have on Gaia Online is named nny and I just named him nny to see how many people would know what I was talking about. surprisingly most didn't. sad hu?
any way, nny will be traveling with me through out the convention and I will be taking picture of him! ^__^

So today so far:
I ended up skipping most every thing that I had listed in the last post. Well, I went to 'A Quite Place to Write' but I got board after waiting for people to show up. so I went down stairs to play DDR, but it didn't take dollars so I had to go to the front desk to get some coins, BUT then my coins didn't fit o_O"
seriously, I couldn't get the coins to go in the machine! and I looked for a tokin machine but there was none! it made me very sad ;_;

after that I went shopping. I bought two VooDoo Babies ^_^
Baby Satan and Melenco (white). here's a photo of them ^_^
I also got a pouch so carry my stuff in so I don't have to carry my purse every where.
later I went to the yoga class, it was a good class. I definitely plan on going to the next one on Sunday ^_^

Tonight we are going to go to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I have an entire outfit to wear. er, I don't think I'll be posting photos of it though...

First day of Baycon ! well, it hasn't started yet; the opening ceremony isn't till 2pm. But I already got an extra ribbon! *points to the photo above* see the pink one? she was giving out candy with those ribbons too ^_^
Next year we plan on doing a Blue Page thing! We are going to hide blue pages and they have to bring the blue pages to use to get their ribbon. We where going to do that this year but we were planning on giving some sort of prize, like a blank book. because of that we were going to have the pages be numbered, like 1-5, and people would have to bring back pages 1-5 in order to get the prize. we (ok I, Jeff just forgot about it) decided it was too much of a hassle. But if we just required one page for a ribbon that would work out nicely. Especially since there are people here that hunt down every ribbon they can find.

So what do I plan on doing today? well, I plan on hitting the dealers room once it opens. also here's a few panels I'm interested in going to

So I am now here at the Doubletree, yay! Baycon doesn’t start till tomorrow, but it's good that we got here today. it means we don't have to rush to get down here tomorrow. also we got a good room, it's over looking the area that they will be projecting the movies on to ^__^
yay, we get to watch movies! ^_^

So far today I've uploaded all the photos that I've been meaning to upload to flickr. also I went to the work out room here and went on the treadmill for about 15 minutes. yay for exercising!
