and for those of you that didn't know, me, angelic_fg, cryptic_design, vulgar_prince, _phoenixdown, and Joe (cuz he's not cool enough to have a LJ) went to Dillon Beach yesterday. Why, I can't say. (well, Jeff joked we should go to the beach and Aileen decided to take him seriously) It was freezing! and even though I had on a scarf, hat, gloves AND the hood on the jacket I was still cold. Yeah, beach in the middle of winter isn't such a great idea....
Well, other than it being cold it was fun ^_^
and plus, I got a few good photos, wheee.

Also, today me and Jeff went down to the city so he could pick up his gun. On the way back we stopped at the new mall and I bought some more tea from lupicia. More of the Strawberry & Vanilla and a Chocolate tea. Yes, chocolate tea. it's really interesting.

Seems like going to the beach is going to be our weekly tradition while the weather is hot. well, not next weekend since we're going camping next week. I don't know weather to feel excited about it or dread it o_O"
and Jeff is taking bets on who (between me and Joe) will push the other into the lake first. Well, we'll see o_O"

The day started off with breakfast at Aram's and then we headed off to the beach to try to fly those kites Jeff bought a while back. it didn't happen. I mean, we tried to fly the kites but they just whouldn't fly. and even when we got back to town and tried to fly them they still didn't fly.
oh well.
any way, I mostly napped while Jeff tried to get the kites to fly. since we were walked just a little further than most people do there weren't very many people near us (though there were a lot of people on that beach) so it was nice and peaceful.
After getting tired of the kites and stuff we went to a restaurant and had fish & chips. it's so yummy when you buy it at the beach ^_^
then we bought some taffy and were on our way home. though we then saw a cherry stand and ended up buying some cherries from them. they are actually really good cherries. in fact I'm going to go get one to eat right now.

yesterday I had Jeff drop me off in Santa Rosa on his way to work so I could apply at a temp agency. mom knows the people that run it and also I'm trying to get a job (even if just a temp job) at the place mom works. but if anything I'm sure she'll find a job for me some where here in town.
After that I wondered around downtown for a long time. I bought two GIR shirts from hot topic, some fuzzy black slippers, and a couple of magazines. yay for shopping! ^_^

I then went to the area where Best Buy and all those stores are at and looked at some apartments. the first place we were thinking about (The Meadows) doesn’t have any one room apartments so I walked over to some other apartment place. the place looked alright but where only $30 less than the places at Harvest Park! not the mention I didn't like the area nearly as much as Harvest Park (even though it's not that far) and I believe the apartments where smaller too. Also the guy was really pushy, he kept trying to get me to put a deposit down on the apartment. I mean, how many times I do I have say "I have to discuss this with my husband" before he gets the point?! and he was adding things up as "just as an example", but he was still being really pushy. "we only have 2 one room apartments. If you want you can put down $100 to hold it." *rolls eyes*
so mainly for the fact that he was really pushy and also the fact that I really do like Harvest Park a whole lot more, I don't think we'll be looking at those places.
then again, we have to see what sort of job I get before we can seriously look at anything o_O"

any way, after that I went to Borders and hung out there. Jeff then picked me up from there and he was like "hey, let's go to the beach" since we where going to go on Friday but ended up not going. So that's what we did, we went to the beach. We got some thing to eat there first and then bought a kite and tried to fly it. at first it didn't work since the area we were in was really sheltered from the wind. so Jeff walked all the way back up the stairs to the top and manged to get the kite up in the air. then he came back down and we were able to fly the kite for a while. it was fun ^_^
but unfortunately when we brought it back in it landed in the water and when I was trying to pull it back in the string ended up snapping. we tried to wait for it to wash back up on shore but it never did, so we just gave up on it.
but all in all it was a fun day ^_^
