well that was fun...
So I was all freaked out and trying to get ready for the camping trip this weekend when we call Joe to ask if they are bringing plates and stuff and he informs us that when he said "next weekend" (said last Monday) he meant not this Saturday but the Saturdays after. you know, I did think it was kind of odd that Aileen didn't mention anything the last few times we've meet up with her... I probably should have guessed.
so yeah, I'm really glad we didn't buy a whole lot for this trip. The sodas and drinks will still be good next weekend and the sausages we bought will be a good dinner for tonight. at least nothing will go to waste. and on the plus side we have extra drinks for our road trip next weekend. speaking of which, no one has suggested any music on this post. I'm not surprised really, I knew no one would care enough to suggest any thing. but if you happen to be board and can think of a song or two (or as many as you want) to add to the playlist, please make a suggestion.

PHOTOS! ^__^
ok, I have all the photos uploads from the camping trip. for convenience (since I didn't a lot of photos) I out all of them into one set and to separate each day I left the photos of the dates in the set.
so here they are:

Camping Trip July 8th – 11th, 2006 - 74 Photos

I think one of the things I missed most out camping was music. I missed listening to music so much. That's probably part of the reason I had that Chihuahua song (the one they play in the gackt can't dance video) stuck in my head the entire trip, I needed some sort of music to hum or something!

BACK
I'm back from the camping trip, see Aileen's Post for details on why I'm back early.

Also I wrote journal entries (by hand) the whole time I was there and I plan on typing them up and posting them here. But I can't do that till I get my journal back from Aileen since I left it in her van >_<
I'll post em later.

in the mean time I'm going to take a nice hot bath.

Camping Trip
Hey Aileen (since I’m pretty sure Joe and Jeff don’t read this) I was thinking that we should buy our Cliff bars (or whatever we end up getting) at Whole foods since they are the same price as Traders Joe's ($.99) and they give us that 15% discount, so it would be totally worth going there.

Just a thought, I'm sure you guys thought of it already

I know a song...
*sings*
I know a song that gets on everybodys nerves, everybodys nerves, everybodys nerves! I know a song that gets on everybodys nerves, everybodys nerves, everybodys nerves, and this is how it goes: (repeat for ever and ever)

sorry, it's stuck in my head...

any way, I'm back from the camping trip! ^__^
and here's photos:

June 16, 2006 - 14 Photos
June 17, 2006 - 20 Photos
Blurred Lights - 19 Photos
June 18, 2006 - 18 Photos

and so, in short, here's what happened over the weekend

June 16, 2006
We got to the camp site and got set up. Not a whole lot happened really. We tried the Freeze Dry food and it was pretty good and made a fire. We star gazed for a while and talked about random things that I can't remember.
then we went to bed.
What? we didn't get there till pretty late.

June 17, 2006
The day started off with swimming in the river. and yes, I'll admit it, we went skinny dipping. and yes, I'll even admit I had fun doing it.
any way, after swimming we went back up to the camp site and pretty much just hung out and chatted. me and Aileen looked at my yoga magazine and did a few poses. Aileen also played around with my camera.
When it got hotter we went swimming again and stayed out longer. there were also kayakers around so no, I didn't not skinny dip that time (though Aileen and Jeff did). Joe eventually joined me, Aileen and Jeff but ended up losing Aileen's shirt and Jeff's shorts since they were in the floating thing I brought.
then later on there was ceremony and food and then more swimming. though I only stayed in for a few minutes since it was cold by then.
At night I took a lot of blurry fire photos. We also drank X-Rated Fusion Liqueur with Sierra Mist, which is really yummy.
then I went to bed since I was getting tired.

June 18, 2006
More swimming, and yes, more skinny dipping. what? there wasn't anyone around except for the people I know, who were also skinny dipping.
oh yeah, Joe decided to be boring and not go swimming with us. what was with him all weekend? *shrugs*
Since we already packed before going swimming once we were done we just got changed and left. Everyone went there own different directions and me and Jeff headed out to Tony's Seafood restaurant on Highway 1. though we ended up hitting traffic just 4 miles away from there and had to wait since the traffic was stopped. apparently there was an accident and since it's only a two lane road and they had one lane blocked off they were stopping traffic on one side. whee....
At the restaurant there was a brief moment when I was panicking since Jeff went in ahead of me so I could use the restroom and when I went in the restaurant I couldn't see him any where. so I took a seat, thinking maybe he just left to use the restroom him self and waited. but the thing about this place is it's seat your self and its really busy. there was a line in under a minute and I had to dash to grab the seat I got since some people were trying to cut in front of me. Then I waited. and waited... and waited... and the people up in front started at me, I didn't like that.
After a while Jeff suddenly appeared behind me and told me that he had a table in the back, which was why I couldn't see him. After that I calmed down.

We then went to the Petaluma visitor center just for the heck of it. actually I took some photos of the train that's been sitting there forever and I grabbed some info about things to do here. why? eh, I just felt like seeing what was going on around here even though I live here.

CAMPING
This weekend we get to go camping with the coven, yay! and this time I think we're by Russian River so we'll be able to go swimming, yay! ^_^

Jeff's probably going to be home around 4:30pm. After he packs and we go to the store to get ice we'll be off. I'm pretty much packed myself. I just need to stick things in the cooler, which I wont do till we're getting ready to leave.

so I wont be back till Sunday some time, and I probably wont post anything till Monday. well, we'll see.

and before I go, I leave you with this :

My scarf GROWS! and a rant

look, my scarf is getting longer! yay! and it's not half bad for my first scarf ^_^
I really like the yarn I got, it's so nice and soft ^_^
What I need to do it go get some yarn from that one yarn store downtown; they have a lot of nice things. well, maybe when I get better at knitting since it is a bit expensive...

any way, yesterday
Yesterday we walked around Shollenberger Park with our packs on to get used to the weight for our hiking trip in July. of course I hated the fact that I thought we were going to around once but ended up going again. well, we were going to go around twice but it was getting dark so we only went less than half way.
my shoulder straps were too tight and that was really hurting me, so that made it really annoying. actually it's going to be really annoying when they get all "we have to train up" all military like and make us go around 4 times. WTF?! I'm going to end up associating one of my favorite placing with training and I am going to be very angry at them if I start hating Shollenberger Park because of this.

and today we plan on going back and probably doing two laps. I swear, they better not up it to three on me with out any warning. I swear, I hate doing anything exercise related with Joe and Jeff, they always make it into such a chore! is this the only way men work out? by making it a chore? I know dad dose it, I know Joe and Jeff dose it and those are the only males I've worked out with that haven't been PE teachers. PE teachers are different since you're doing it for a grade.

blah, you know I'm wondering if this hiking trip is even going to be fun. you know, walking out side and enjoying nature, not being forced to walk fast and get going. I know they are going to make us "go-go-go!" because we can't be "late". late for what? are the bird going to care if we get to our next camp sight a little late? ok, I know it has more to do with weather and heat, but I still get the feeling this is just going to be one huge "exercise trip" and that fun will take a back seat to "GO-GO-GO!" mentality.

I'm start to not look forward to this camping trip.

Stuff

LOOK, I finished my Daily Photos for April 2006 Set! yay! ^_^

ALSO, here's photos from the camping trip:
April 28th
AND
April 29th

4/27
We saw Depeche Mode! [info]arsenicandtea sums it up pretty well HERE.
pretty much at first I was all pissy since I wanted to good seats, not the horrible ones we had. But once they started playing I didn't care as much.
me and [info]arsenicandtea have both promised that we're getting the good seats next time though. regardless of how much they will coast.
but like I said, I still ended up having a good time. ^_^

4/28
and we're off on our camping trip! unfortunately the night before we didn't get home till 1am or later and also didn't do any packing and didn't wake up till 9am. so we rushed to pack and get out of the house and then rushed to buy everything we needed at Whole Foods and Safeway.
Once we got there and got set up we went fishing. didn't catch any thing, but it was fun any way.
then we got drunk and danced around the camp fire naked! ok, we didn't do any naked dancing, I would have to have been very drunk to do that. but we did get drunk.

4/29
there was a lot of cooking and more drinking. actually I didn't get drunk I was just very chatty before going to sleep.

4/30
and today! ^_^
after packing and leaving we got breakfast. then went to REI to look at back packs and stuff for our camping trip in July. me, Jeff, Aileen and Joe are going to go on a 6 days camping trip and hike around Lake Sonoma. it'll be fun and something I haven't done before. Me and Aileen are so going to start hiking around parks and stuff a lot before going though. we want to build up to this trip cuz there is going to be a lot of hiking.
