So I packed all of the cakes in their little tins and stuck them in the freezer so that they will last a little longer when I go out to deliver them. I just need to buy one more tin for the extra cake we have that we plan on giving to Jeff's mom.

For x-mas presents I decided to bake small checkerboard cakes for every one and I've been baking like mad since yesterday. I just finished making the mini cakes tonight and I think they turned out whether cute ^_^
Now I just need to pack them in the morning and start delivering them! ^_^

and here's a photo of the test cake. the ones I made for presents ended up less lop sided and also I didn't put the big blue sugar snow flake on it ether.

Also for the past couple of days I've been working on a scarf for mom. here's a photo of what it looks like so far. ^_^
After I finish knitting the scarf for mom I'm going to work on my hat, then Jeff's black hat and then I'm probably going to make myself a scarf with that really soft pink and brown yarn I bought recently ^_^

I also made another cake with green instead of yellow as the second but I haven't taken any photos of that one yet.

So it's been a while since I last updated. I'm sure no one has missed me. but if you have feel free to comment! ^_^
even if it's a random comment, I don't mind at all! ^_^

the past couple of days nothing really exciting has happened. well, yesterday me and Jeff had to go up to Moutainview to get his teeth worked on. why all the way up there, you ask? cuz it's being paid for by the military and for some reason they can't seem to get it through their thinks heads that Moutainview is 2 freaking hours away from us! that's with fairly good traffic. now it'd take much longer if we had to fight the morning commute traffic; which thankfully we normally miss.

after we were done at the dentist office we went to the Metreon and where bored almost immediately. is it me or dose that place get more boring every time I go? well, I think the fact that every time I go a new store is closed has something to do with that. like that one cool store up stairs with the computers, it's gone now! not closed for the day, it's closed closed! gone, POOF! that store has been there forever and now it's gone, it makes me sad ;_;

after getting bored there we went to frjtz (the one in Ghirardelli Square) and had tea and fries. well, Jeff had a soda. but we did share fires! they were yummy ^_^

and that was pretty much all we did yesterday. well, we stopped at Best Buy on the way back home and Jeff bought a game that he's been playing since last night. but other wise that's it.


Random:
this group makes me want to make bento boxes. too bad I don't have any where to take them o_O"
well, I'm sure when/if I find a job and when/if I start going back to school I'll be in need of a good bento! ^_^

I actually have this bento box but mine is a darker blue and I probably got it for cheaper since I bought it at that cheap store in Japan Town. though I am missing the cute bag and chop stick holder. I need to go back to buy one! and one of those rubber band things to hold it all together.

just read the alt tags on the screen caps of THIS POST. it's funny, even if you're not watching the anime. I know I found them funny and I'm not watching the anime. (also I can be fairly sure that's not actually what's going on)

So a couple of days ago I decided to make truffles from a recipe I got from Real Simple ^_^
I've already sent a few to Jeff and hopefully he'll get them soon. I also hope they get to him in one piece and that he likes them. though I'm sure he'll like them, he'll at least appreciate the effort ^__^
