yesterday dad took me to Japan Town, which was a lot of fun ^_^
I bought a ton of stuff while I was there too

I'm back from Japan Town with dad. I had a ton of fun shopping ^__^

no, there's no real reason that I thought of that song. I mean, other than it's raining like crazy and I'm like "rainy day, rainy day" and of course that meant this song came to mind.

don't get me wrong, I still hate the dub of Sailor moon. actually, I hate the anime version, I like the manga a lot better.

any way, like I said it's raining like crazy out side. I wonder if it's raining in Annwfn any o_O"

oh yeah, dad is probably going to take me to Japan Town tomorrow, hehe! ^_^
I say probably because he said he can't promise since he doesn't know if he's working tomorrow or not and how long. Though it did get uped from "I'll try" to "probably" today, so things are looking up ^_^
and he said if he dose work he'll probably only work 2 hours, or something like that. So we'll probably go even if he dose work, though it depends on how tired he is. and he did look pretty tired yesterday night o_O"
I hope he doesn't overwork him self, seriously.
*sigh* now I need to worry about both mom and dad over working them selfs o_O"

but any way, if I do get to go to Japan Town, I'm going to go to Ichiban Kan and get a whole bunch of stuff! (cleaning stuff, bento stuff, other stuff, hehehehe!!) also I am soooooo going to go to the book store to check out the knitting magazines and I'm probably going to end up buying some sort of stuff toy at that one shop with all the cute things (I think it's Moritaya) ^_^
and then hopefully I'll get to eat okonomiyaki! or Oyakodon. and I am sooooo going to get some takoyaki too ^_^
hehe, I'm so excited ^_^

Last night I saw Pan's Labyrinth with arsenicandtea, angelic_fg and some other guys whose name I already forgot o_O"
sorry, I'm bad with names >_<
any way, it was a GREAT movie! I loved it! I am so buying it on DVD when it comes out ^_^

But before that, as you can tell from the photo, we had dinner at Japan Town before going to the movie. though when we ordered water the lady was like "umm, water isn't good today. You don't want any." and we're like "then what did you use to make the tea with??" o_O"
though they said they had a different water system for the tea, but yeah... it creeped us out. so we just ordered soda.
but other than that the food was good ^_^

So today me and Jeff decided to take a random road trip up to the place Baycon is going to be at this year. We took a few photos and I'll post them some times... maybe. Well, they really aren't any better than the photos on the web site, so yeah....
any way, it is a nice hotel, that's for sure, but it also feels a lot smaller some how... Well, the lobby is quite small, the pool is small as well and there is no place to project the movie for the dive in movie ;_;
Also there is only one restaurant and it's freaking expensive. I didn't look at the price, but Jeff did and he said it was expensive. But on the plus said Jeff did say the web site said 'most' rooms have refrigerators and microwaves AND there is a Trader Joe's just a block away from the hotel. Being that there didn't appear to be any really good restaurant to eat at in the area, buying food from Trader Joe's and using the microwave seems like a good option. I'm sure many people will probably be doing the same.

After looking around the hotel and getting a few funny looks (since we looked a bit out of place in such a nice hotel) we headed over to Japan Town ^_^
I bought some Takoyaki and some Taiyaki and some Genmaicha ^_^
We also stopped at the dessert cafe there, I had a green tea float and Jeff had a mocha float ^_^

Today me and Jeff went to Japan Town (as you can tell from all the cell phone photos) and then went to the Japanese Tea Garden. though by time we got down there we only had like, half an hour so we decided to just hang out at the park for a while.
Mom got home just a few minutes after we did and then I left to go to my eye appointment. Jeff's with Joe doing something and I'm not sure what time he'll be back.

Yesterday I got a new cell phone! ^_^
why you ask? cuz I really wanted the new Verizon Chocolate cell. ALSO when I bought my other cell phone not too long ago for some reason it didn't get registered so I was still eligible to upgrade my phone AND get a $100 toward a new cell phone! so before tax and insurance and all that stuff I ended up paying only $50 for this phone ^_^
also mom, who has been eying my cell phone since I bought it, got to switch cell phones. So I got a new cell phone, mom got my cell and every one is happy ^_^

and yes, that key chain attached to my cell has little chocolate bars on it (just plastic). a chocolate key chain for my chocolate phone, hehe ^_^
I bought it today at Japan Town ^_^

So this morning me and mom went to kaiser. we decided to make an appointment instead of going to the ER, but thankfully they were able to give us an appointment right away.Well, it would have been if the doctor wasn't running behind schedule...
Once we did see the doctor he was very obviously surprised by the state my eye was in and determined he couldn't do anything for me so he sent me to an eye care person. We had to wait about 2 1/2 hours for the next appointment so we got lunch and then went to the farmers market that was just closing and then off to the doctors office downtown. There he told me to keep up with the eye medicine they gave me before and do A LOT of warm compresses. he also gave me some anti-biotic, whee. I swear, if all of this doesn't make my eye better.... well, he told me i this doesn't do the trick then they are going to need to drain it >_<
that sounds painful... I hope it's not going to come down to that.

ANY WAY,
after we went to San Francisco like we had planned, yay! and I got my self a nifty eye patch to cover up my eye. yay, I'm a pirate!
We went to Japan Town first and bought a ton of food. some snack stuff and food for me since mom is going to be going to that party for a relative of some sort and I wont be going. (I don't want to and they wont miss me)
then we hung out there for a while, I bought Jeff some intents and then we went to Macy's. We got messages and then shopped around, it was fun ^_^
and I didn't buy anything ether. surprising, hu?
on the way back home we stopped at the Cheese Cake Factory for dinner and now I'm back home. yay?
