so, I just got back from seeing Lestat. and well..... it was an experience o_O"
so to sum it up, there were some really cool scenes and some really, really bad ones. the way they ended the play made me go "WTF?!" Also the first half was far better than the second half, but the scenes with Armand in the second half were good. everything else... not so much. and again, the end made me go "WTF?" it was very.... special. yeah, special.
but I guess all in all it was a pretty alright musical. they have a ton of bugs to work out, but at least Armarnd was cool. *nods*

side note / vent:
his f***ing brother dies! not his wife and child, but brother!
... sorry, they screwed that one up in the movie and they screwed it up in the musical as well.

At Lestat

so I was playing the We Love Katamari OST in the car and mom joked "is that the music for the play we're seeing?!"
The I started joking that yes, this is the Lestat music. the curtains are going to open to Katamari on the Rocks, Lestat is going to appear on stage in bright pink and some sort of weird head thing and start singing "Nananananananana Katamari Damashi!" while rolling everything up on stage! he'll start with rats, then cats and dogs.... then he'll roll up Nikki and then Magnus and then, well, he'd roll up the entire cast! then he'll start rolling up the audience! and we'll have exclamation marks above our head as we slide away from him IN our seat still!
it'll be great!

I would have preferred better seats, but on such short notice that's the best I'm going to get. it's better than row T any way.
but I get to see the musical! YAY!!!! ^__^

Also I got my Zebra Donkey stuff toy back today, yay!! ^__^
what? Jeff got it for me at the El Paso zoo and it's oh so hugable! and I missed it lots over the days I didn't have it ;_;
but yeah, I got it back ^_^

and ummm... I went out for another bike ride today, it was fun. I didn't take picture this time, I just enjoyed the view ^_^

AND I went to the SRJC and got my fee waiver! it was insanely easy! I filled out a piece of paper and talked to the lady and she typed stuff in the computer and she was like "ok, your fees have been waived."
I was like "already?"
and she said yes. and when I checked the site when I got home they were!! ^_^
I only owe the SRJC $1! ^__^
which I think I might be able to waive too. but I really wouldn't care one way or another, it's just a $1

I almost forgot about this!! ok, I really need to know who is and isn't going and how many tickets I need to buy and what days are good for those of you going.
I can not go Dec 15th-20th, but any other days I can go. these are the dates that it is running :
December 17, 2005 - January 29, 2006

let's see... there is the REALLY expensive seats for $160 each, which I know no one wants. SO the second best seats are $80, I will not getting any cheaper sets. if you guys want to sit separately then the prices go like this :
$65, $40 and $30. you can pretty much guess about were those seats are about.

ether way, I am SO going to have to see it! Then all I can do is hope that it's good.
but I wish the web site had more information ;_;
like maybe music clips or pictures! I wish they at least had a few pictures! ;_;
